Meet the Founders

The two riders
behind the jackasses.

Two friends. Decades of saddle time between them. Here's who you'll be riding with when you show up to a Two Jackasses weekend.

John Gorman

John has chased horizons across an entire continent. He has ridden the Continental Divide border to border, crossed the US multiple times, pushed through Alaska's wild interior all the way to Deadhorse and Tuktoyaktuk, and competed in the BMW GS Trophy Qualifier — a proving ground for some of the most skilled adventure riders in the world.

But for all the big miles, John's heart stays in the Blue Ridge Mountains, where he leads riders through gravel roads and hidden connectors he knows like old friends. He rides with calm confidence and a genuine desire to see others grow.

When you show up to a Two Jackasses weekend, John is the one out front — reading the terrain, setting the pace, and making sure every rider finds their line.

Anthony Molina

Anthony grew up practicing motocross in Colombia and hasn't stopped riding since. He has covered roughly 40 states on two wheels and has ridden in Australia, Guatemala, Mexico, and Colombia — bringing a global perspective to every route he plans.

On the event side he has taken on the Durty Dabber, Michaux Dual Sport, Shenandoah 500, Smokey 500, and the Red River Scramble. He has also ridden the MABDR and the PA Wilds BDRX, and completed two trips that say everything about who he is as a rider — from Maryland to Wyoming for the 2021 Devil Stone Run and from Maryland all the way to Mexico for the 2023 Mezcal Moto Rally.

As a certified MSF Dirt Bike Coach now in his third year with DC Dirt Camp, Anthony believes the teaching is just as important as the riding. Behind the scenes he is the one scouting the routes, building the logistics, and making sure every detail is handled before the first bike ever leaves the parking lot.
